Architecture in Your Community
The architecture of most Wisconsin communities reflects the state and national styles popular in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Using images provided by your organization, Les Crocker will discuss how your local buildings relate to these styles. This presentation requires that the sponsoring organization provide 15 to 20 images of local buildings to Crocker at least three weeks before the scheduled talk. Digital images or slides may be used. The specific examples discussed will be at the discretion of Crocker. The discussion will focus on the distinctive architecture of your community as it relates to the broad changes in architecture during the last two centuries in Wisconsin and the United States.

Walking tours may be developed in conjunction with the discussion. Crocker is also available for seminars and workshops on preservation planning and the development of historic districts.
