NOW ON VIEW in River Falls through March 11. Click here to learn more.

The Wisconsin Humanities Council is excited to host the Wisconsin tour of Key Ingredients: America by Food, a traveling exhibition about food culture produced by the Smithonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program.

The Key Ingredients tour will visit six communities across Wisconsin from October 2010 through August 2011.

The exhibition uses photographs, artifacts, and panel displays to reveal the many ways history and culture have shaped our dining habits, recipes, farming practices, and more. Each tour stop will feature additional displays and community events that hightlight the local and regional food traditions that define the unique flavors of Wisconsin.

Key Ingredients explores the connections between Americans and the foods they produce, prepare, preserve, and present at the table. We hope you can join us at any or all of the six stops on the tour!

We would like to recognize and thank our media partners Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio, and The Country Today.
