DIANE LICHTENSTEINDiane Lichtenstein is Professor of English at Beloit College. She also teaches Women’s and Gender Studies courses regularly. She received her BA from Brown University and her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. She has written and lectured about numerous nineteenth and twentieth-century American women writers including Emma Lazarus, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Louisa May Alcott, Edith Wharton, Jessie Redmon Fauset, Dorothy Canfield Fisher, Edna Ferber, and Fannie Hurst.
