Wisconsin Writers Writing about Wisconsin
Wisconsin writers have written an amazing number of works with Wisconsin settings, both real and imagined. From The House on the Rock, to the streets of Milwaukee, to the shores of fictional "Loon Lake, Wisconsin," our state's creative writers have adapted their experiences living in Wisconsin for our entertainment and enlightenment. Grant's presentation will offer a thumbnail history of Wisconsin's literary history and discuss what makes Wisconsin writing distinct.
