JUDITH STRASSERJudith Strasser passed away in January of 2009. The WHC is honored to have had Judith as part of the Speakers Bureau since 2000 and we are grateful for all that she did to spread her passion for the humanities and poetry throughout Wisconsin. To read more about Judith in The Capital Times, click here. Judith Strasser was retired from her career as a producer and interviewer at Wisconsin Public Radio, and was a well-respected writer. She is the author of Black Eye: Escaping a Marriage, Writing a Life and Facing Fear: Meditations on Cancer and Politics, Courage and Hope, and co-editor of an anthology, On Retirement: 75 Poems. She is also the author of two published poetry collections. Her writing has appeared in many literary magazines and anthologies. |
