Nature of Culture-Dance Performance

The Nature of Culture Project is a dynamic initiative for low-income, underserved Milwaukee youth that engages them in cultural explorations and focused educational activities that examine how the natural world has impacted different cultures over time. This is part of the culmination event of the popular 10-week summer. Nature and Culture programming has been designed to infuse traditional and contemporary cultural experiences as children learn about history, art, language and customs of ethnic groups from Africa, Southeast Asia, and Pacific Islanders, Latin America and Native American Woodland tribal groups. This is a public event with other hands on activities and performances to celebrate our summer.
