Second Saturdays - Journeys Into Local History-Black Point Estate and Gardens, WHS-Dave Desimone

Desimone is director of the Wisconsin Historical Society's Black Point Estate and Gardens in Lake Geneva. Built in 1888, the property is one of the finest examples of Queen Anne design in the area and evokes the time when urban Chicago families escaped to Wisconsin in the summer. The presentation will explore the lives of these affluent summer visitors.
