Uprooted: Plants in a Changing Climate - Uprooted at the Arboretum (registration required)

Plants & Place: Vanishing Flora in the Age of Climate Change, a group exhibition at the James Watrous Gallery, will feature Wisconsin artists' focus on botanical subjects and regional ecosystems. In consultation with scientists and citizen groups engaged in protecting native landscapes and local species, each artist will create new work highlighting the impact of climate change on our state's plant communities. Our public programs will include talks, gallery tours and workshops that will explore how changes in plant life shape our sense of place in Wisconsin.
