Voting for a Change - The Impact of the 19th Amendment on Our Community-"Voting for a Change"-by Professor Steven Sheehan

This talk occurs in conjunction with an exhibit that celebrates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution titled, "Voting for Change -- The Impact of the 19th Amendment on Our Community." The exhibit highlights the struggle, the process and the outcome of this monumental moment in our history. We hope to inspire the community to conversation and consideration of issues such as voting rights, the changing role of women in society, and the process of amending the Constitution.
