Heritage Days: Get Hooked on History! - Public Day

The 6th annual Heritage Days: Get Hooked on History! is a 2-day event at Wisconsin Concrete Park. Day 1 is devoted to field trips of 4th grade students from public, parochial and home schools throughout Price County and surrounding communities. The event includes 42 interactive stations & re-enactor camps set throughout the park. Day 2 of the event will be open to the public with additional exhibits, five hours of traditional and ethnic music, interactive demonstrations of skills, artifacts and tools geared toward adults and families. A special focus in 2017 is to expand the representation of tribal peoples of northern Wisconsin and the ways in which they worked, lived and thrived during the 10-12,000 years before European settlers came to explore the Northwoods.
