Tuition for Motheread/Fatheread® Family Literacy Institute:
Registration
Registration for a WHC sponsored Motheread/Fatheread® Family Literacy Institute is $650 per person, which includes twenty-four hours of training (two half-days and two full days), complete curriculum, and certification. Food and lodging are not included in the registration fee. Other specialized trainings may be offered and fees may vary.
Topics
Participants use selected books to explore the stages of early childhood development, addressing the following topics: expressing needs and feelings, establishing independence, understanding what families value, sharing and cooperating, and "self possibilities."
Verizon scholarships available
Scholarships are available to individuals who live or work in a Verizon local service area. Scholarships pay for half ($325) of your tuition. See a list of
