"Share Work Stories from Your Family," by Alison Staudinger. AShopTalk event.

Your own family tree is full of stories about work. They are unique stories that provide insight into your values, opportunities, and aspirations. They are also part of the history of this state and the larger history of work in this county. This is a chance to hear stories, and even share your own, as part of a brief tutorial about how to gather, preserve, and use oral histories. Alison will share some of the stories her students at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay gathered as part of a course called "The Work of Storytelling," as well as the ups and downs of the process.
