Echoes and Roots: the Origins of Eau Claire’s Musical Renaissance

This event at the Chippewa Valley Museum will showcase what the Eau Claire history harvest has collected and what has been discovered so far from the shared inquiry into the community's musical past. Sounds of Eau Claire Project Director, Dr. Dan Ott will discuss the progress, highlights, and findings of the project, which has digitally preserved thousands of objects from over 80 community members and spans over 100 years of local history. Following the presentation there will be time for Q&A and general audience discussion of Eau Claire's musical landscape.
