Multicultural Film Series-"Come Meet the Family"- Film showing and post-screening talk back - "Arranged"


As their friendship grows, two first-year public school teachers -- an Orthodox Jew and a Mulsim -- discover they share much in common. Both their families are, as is traditional, arranging their marriages. One is pleased with her match, the other not so much, but with help from her clever friend, she too gets a happy ending. Talkback: Janeen Najeeb, President, Milwaukee Muslim Women's Coalition. The Come Meet the Family! Film/Talkback is series open to the public. Saturday morning screenings are family friendly (suitable for adults and children 10 and up), about an by a different racial, cultural or religious group. Following each film, an expert from the featured population(s) will discuss their lived experiences and the film with the audience.
