Honoring Our Native American Heritage-Dedication and Blessing Day

This project involved the construction of a new Native American exhibit on the museum grounds, including an authentic wigwam, built by Ojibwe who teach traditional lifeways. The exhibit provides area residents and students in the Bruce, Flambeau and Ladysmith School Districts another means for learning about the Native American culture, life values, treaty rights and the shared environmental issues which we all face today.
