Kao Kalia Yang Community Lecture and Discussion-based Workshop


Hmong author Kao Kalia Yang will come to the College's Green Bay campus to provide a one-hour community lecture followed by a discussion-based workshop open to staff, students, and community. Yang is the author of The Latehomecomer: A Homong Family Memoir and the Poet Song. She speaks to the refugee and immigrant experiences and how it relates to issues with literacy and education, as well as race and class of the Hmong people.
