Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books-Essay, Poetry and Short Story Contest Awards Ceremony

The Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books is a free community celebration of literacy and arts where local and national authors and readers come together to learn, question and reflect on many topics. New this year: The Festival has added the The Duane Stein Short Story Writing Contest for high school students and poetry writers to the Century Fence Essay Contest. Writers in all categories will be announced and awarded their prizes. Students are asked to write an essay, poem, or short story about this year’s theme, Opening Doors.
