And So We Walked Together-The Purpose of our Stories


The presentation focuses on how traditional story-telling techniques inform the research behind "And so we walked together." The play itself is a powerful, multi-faceted dramatic memoir by DeLanna Studi that draws on extraordinary interviews, historical research, and the the artist's personal experience to convey the complexities and conflicts facing contemporary Cherokee people.
