Collections and Connections: The Wisconsin Academy at 150-Exhibition

Heritage and Horizons is an exhibition at the Wisconsin Academy's James Watrous Gallery that explores the Academy's complex and fascinating history through objects, photographs, and interpretive texts. Heritage and horizons is curated by artist Martha Glowacki, a Wisconsin native known for her work exploring the history of science. The main feature of the exhibit is her imaginative recreation of the archaeological and natural history collections gathered by early members of the Academy like Increase Lapham, Thomas Chamberlin and Edward Birge.
